In recent years, deep frying your thanksgiving turkey is becoming more and more popular. This method of cooking prepares a temptingly delicious and tender turkey, and is a great substitute to conventional cooking methods. It is particularly important, however, take precautions and follow instructions carefully.
A deep fried turkey takes approximately 3 to 5 minutes per pound if it being cooked in 350 degree F oil. Shove off the big bird to one side for at least half an hour and then do the same for the other side as well.
